For nearly five decades, Get Ready Set Grow Childcare has been a trusted provider of childcare services in Omaha, serving families with exceptional infant care, toddler care, preschool, and pre-kindergarten programs. Founded in 1979 by Denny and Sonja Clanton, our family-owned childcare center has remained dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education since my husband, DJ Clanton, and I proudly became owners in 2000.
As a family-owned childcare center, we believe every child deserves to be known, celebrated, and loved. Whether they are joining us as an infant, exploring as a toddler, or preparing for kindergarten in our preschool program, we take the time to build meaningful relationships with each child and every family. Our warm, welcoming environment helps children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn every day. Because decisions are made right here at our center—not in a corporate office—we can respond quickly, remain flexible, and always focus on what is best for the children entrusted to our care.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, along with years of experience as both an elementary classroom teacher and childcare director, I am passionate about providing exceptional childcare and preschool education. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to encourage confidence, curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Through nurturing relationships, hands-on experiences, and developmentally appropriate activities, children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while having fun every day.
